Pre-Operational Checklist

This checklist is required to complete the warranty registration process. It is to be performed by the dealer and/or customer before technology accessories are attached to the unit. This is important as road transportation during delivery can cause vibrations that affect the integrity of connections or prior quality inspections.

All grease fittings in place & lubricated.

All working parts are moving freely and lubricated.

Check for hydraulic leaks & proper operation of each cylinder.

Re-check to ensure all sections are within a proper level range & cylinder adjustments are correct.

Check fo proper routing of hydraulic hoses to prevent rub or pinch damage.

Check for proper routing of all wire harness lines to prevent rub or pinch damage.

Check all tires for proper air inflation based on manufacturer's recommendations.

Check all lug nuts on wheels to ensure correct tightness to proper torque.

Check all lights, warning lights and flashers to ensure proper function.

Ensure all safety decals, SMV signs & reflective tape are in place.

Check all safety latching of wing latches & transport pins in place for transport.

For Central Seed Delivery (CSD) systems, run the blower fans and check gauge levels for proper function.

For Central Seed Delivery (CSD) systems, check for excessive air leaks and proper gasket and sealant in place.

For Central Seed Delivery (CSD) systems, check inside of bulk tanks to ensure there is no debris inside of the tanks.

For row units that are using seed boxes, check inside the boxes to ensure there is no debris inside the units.

Check the security of seed hose connections.

For models with LaserPro Series row units, double check row spacing to ensure proper installation.

Check row units for any broken or damaged U-bolts.

For models with row markers, check the function of the markers.

Check the row marker measurement to ensure spacing is correct.

Check the row marker disc to ensure it is free-rolling.

Touch up any areas of paint damage from shipping or installation.
